Join us for an elegant evening of dinner, drinks, and music as we gather to celebrate the lives we hold in our hearts and support the families who carry them forward.

Our annual benefit features a silent auction and raffle with curated gift packages and unique items. All proceeds directly fund our mission to provide light and comfort to families facing infant or child loss.

Where Your Support Goes

This year, we are raising vital funds for our cornerstone initiatives:

• The Sunshine Kit Program: We provide comprehensive kits to Yale New Haven Hospital NICU, while working to continue to grow partnerships with local hospitals. These kits help families capture priceless memories, featuring:

  • Professional Photography: On-site sessions at no cost to the family.

  • Memorial Jewelry: Custom pieces featuring the baby’s fingerprint.

  • Handmade Comfort: Artisan quilts, blankets, and hats.

  • And much more: kits include a variety of memory making items for families to create memories that last.

  • A sample Sunshine Kit will be on display at the event for guests to view.

• The Everlasting Stitch and Naptime Stitchery Partnerships: Through our collaboration with Everlasting Stitch LLC and Naptime Stitchery, we provide families with a custom Memory Bears or other Memory Keepsakes (for losses up to age 12). These items are crafted from a child’s clothing or blankets, providing a tangible way to honor their memory. Your attendance ensures these are provided to families free of charge.

• Meals for families: We continue to work towards growing our capacity to support families in the year following the loss of their child. The Sunshine Fund works with local caterers to provide meals at no cost to families- whether in the immediate days or weeks following a loss, at an important milestone or holiday, or as a way to honor and celebrate a 1st birthday.

Event Details

• Admission: Your ticket includes a full dinner and open bar/drinks.

• Giving: Silent auction and raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

• Attendance: To maintain the intended atmosphere of the evening, we kindly request that this remain an adults-only event.
